WILLIAM & SON
Branding:

William & Son are a boutique establishment of two luxury goods stores in Mayfair, London. They are goldsmiths and silversmiths by Royal appointment.

The William & Son Marque
The William & Son marque features the monogram 'W' for proprietor William Asprey. Also visible is an eagle's head which references the original Asprey Holdings Limited family crest, the heritage of William Asprey Esq. The proportions and size in application allude to the maker's mark, a symbol that guarantees expertise and quality synonymous with the craft of the luxury goldsmith and silversmith industry.

Development of the Logotype
Drawings bellow show development of the William & Son logotype. Various typographic designs were exchanged back and forth with typographer Hubert Jocham who was commissioned to render the final version of the William & Son logotype.

Development of the Marque
The marque has a distinct art deco style referencing the architecture of Mount Street, Mayfair where the stores are located.
